This beautiful Sunlit Iris was on display at Spetchley Park Gardens near Worcester, and I was fascinated by the very delicate shades of white and purple. The sharp-focus iris is contrasted with the soft-focused background of the bed of irises behind it. The original painting is in my home collection as I didn’t want to part with it but limited edition prints are available.
