A Painted Garden, is the title of my next exhibition of original oil paintings, fine art prints and cards. The exhibition will take place in the Learning Centre at Spetchley Park Gardens, near Worcester during the weekend Friday-Sunday 19–21 June.
I was Artist in Residence at Spetchley from 2021–2024 before moving to Ledbury, and continue to draw inspiration from the gardens’ rich planting and seasonal colour. My new collection features paintings of peonies, tulips, irises, roses and lilies, alongside new distinctive gold leaf work and still life paintings inspired by flowers, birds and food.
Spetchley is a beautiful oasis on the edge of the city of Worcester. The gardens are an ever-changing celebration of colour, light and form, and they continue to inspire many of my paintings. I hope visitors will enjoy seeing familiar flowers and garden details reimagined through paint. Alongside original paintings, there will also be affordable fine art prints and cards available, as well as new gold leaf works featuring birds, fruit and flowers. Whether you are looking for a unique gift, a special piece for your home, or simply wish to enjoy the exhibition as part of your visit to the gardens, I would be delighted to welcome you.
Visitors interested in commissioning a bespoke painting are also warmly invited to discuss ideas with me during the exhibition.
