Thank you to those of you who visited the Barbourne Artists’ Christmas Art Fair at the end of November. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces and to meet new art lovers and collectors.

Kingfisher Catch on Gold, oil painting on board with 23 carat gold leaf. Framed in a double black and gold wood frame. Price £350.
I love the iridescence of these beautiful and shy birds. I saw one locally on the canal towpath recently but I have not managed to catch them in a photo. I am therefore grateful to Les Liddle, a Yorkshire photographer, for the use of one his beautiful image of a kingfisher with its catch of the day.
