Take a walk around Worcester this weekend and you can find a wealth of art exhibitions including two where my oil paintings are on display. Start at The Artery Studios near The Hive and view the work of the Barbourne Artists. Here painters Caroline Hall, Felicity Osborne, Margaret Powell, Cherrie Mansfield and textile artist Jane Arthur are having their summer exhibition.
Poetry and Art Exhibition at Script Haven
Then head down Worcester’s High Street to Script Haven, an independent bookshop with a difference, and here view a unique poetry and art exhibition entitled Breathless -Breathe More. The exhibition is sponsored by Worcestershire Litfest and the Arts Society of Worcester. You can take a break in their coffee shop whilst reading the poems and looking at the art. My oil painting Floating Coral Peony is on display for the theme of calm. The exhibition is on until the end of the month.
Finally, head to Worcester Cathedral and view my oil painting exhibition – Step Aside and See – which celebrates the beauty of the natural world in Worcestershire. Here find my recent still life fruit paintings, floral paintings and work on gold leaf.
