A big thank you to all those of you who braved the cold weather this weekend to visit the Barbourne Artists’ Christmas Fair at St George’s Church Hall, Worcester. The exhibition was a great success and hundreds of people came to view work made by six artists in the north Worcester area. (Cherrie Mansfield, Margaret Powell, Felicity Osbourne, Jane Arthur and Caroline Hall and me). Visitors went away with paintings, prints, cards, textiles and a wide variety of Christmas gifts. The Shop Local – message certainly got through, as many of the guests lived within a mile of the venue. The fair coincided with Worcester City’s Victorian Christmas Fair which also drew in the crowds.
