I am delighted to announce that I have made new sets of signed limited edition prints from some of my most popular paintings. For the past few years I have sold prints of three of my peony paintings, inspired by peonies at Spetchley Park Gardens – Pink Peonies in a Glass Bowl, Pink Peonies in a Silver Jug and Red Peony on Gold . New Prints
Tulipa Estella Rijnveld. The original painting, from which this print was made, was selected for the Open Exhibition of the Society of Women Artists in 2020. Inspired by the painters of the Dutch Golden Age I created a piece which isolated the captivating beauty of one parrot tulip stem. There is now a 100 limited edition print run based on the painting. The print is mounted and wrapped and can be purchased for £65. There is also the option of framed print costing £95. See here for details.
Sweet Pea Shadow Play. This print is based on a recent painting of the same name. It includes different varieties of sweet peas. The orange pink one is called Miss Willmott, after the famous Victorian horticulturalist who was so instrumental in setting up Spetchley Park Gardens where I am currently Artist in Residence. Rosemoor White Rockii on Gold. This print was inspired by a white Rockii peony I saw at RHS Rosemoor in Devon when I was exhibiting there. In the painting, which was done over 23 carat gold leaf, I worked to capture the beauty and delicacy of the semi-transparent petals against their dark leaves. Pink Rockii Peony on Gold. This print was inspired by a peony at Spetchley Park Gardens. In the original painting which was done on imitation gold leaf, I isolated one flower and made decorative use of the surrounding leaves. The mounted print is £55 and a gold framed print is £85. Details of the Prints
The prints are all giclée printed on best quality archival fine art papers and produced by the national award winning art printers Iris Print in Hanley Swan, Worcestershire. Every Print is in an edition of 100 and is individually signed and numbered. The prints are mounted and framed by Hang it All framers, a Worcester based framing company. The prints can be posted first class tracked by Royal Mail within the UK mainland. Contact me for details of postage outside this area. At busy times allow 2 weeks to print and frame.
Prints available at Artists’ Christmas Fair Next Week
All the prints will be available for sale on my forthcoming Christmas exhibition. I will be exhibiting with four other Barbourne Artists on Saturday 2nd December from 10am-4pm at St George’s Church Hall, St George’s Square, Worcester WR1 1HX. I will also be selling my original oil paintings and cards. My fellow artists will be selling a wide range of paintings, prints, textiles, gifts and cards.
