The banner is up, the paintings are packed, and the cards and prints have arrived. Nearly everything is ready for my forthcoming exhibition of recent oil paintings at Spetchley Park Gardens which opens on Friday. There are 36 paintings in the show, including recent still life food paintings, floral paintings and paintings on gold leaf. The exhibition coincides with the magnificent peony season at Spetchley and there are many oil paintings and prints of peonies in the show. The exhibition is open from Friday 26th May and through the bank holiday weekend. It is also open May 31st-2nd June. You can book your tickets for entrance to the gardens here. The exhibition is free to ticket holders and members of the gardens. There is ample parking and an excellent cafe on site.
